Ever thought your bike is too lightweight, small, and accessible? Well, look no further than this 7-foot monstrosity. Jokes aside, probably some of the most fun I've had on a bike was cruising around on this.
SAFETY FIRST?
I wouldnt say safety was my number 1 priority, but it was up there. The body of this beauty is the finest marine plywood money can buy. "Carefully" and painstakingly cut out by hand with a jigsaw while recovering from knee surgery. The making process of this was the best physio anyone could ask for.
PRECISION ENGINEERING
On arrival at a bike shop, I am both proud and ashamed of my favorite possession. The embarrassed side of me feels like professionals who are used to carbon fiber and welded steel will turn their nose up at my hole saw bearing races. But then again, who cares.
COMPONENTS
Appologies firstly to the engineers of GIANT, whose lovely defy 3 road bike was butchered/ re-purposed (although don't worry, the frame was cracked badly). Its Sora cranks and lightweight wheels were a welcome addition to the whip, as it has become known.
